    Smile Howdy, another Brooklyn tintypist

mostly working on still-life but have been doing an occasional artist/technologist portrait. I've been working in 4x5 for years and years, but wet-plate has moved me up to 8x10 (deardorff) and some nice, weird old lenses. Have heard great things about this site, glad to be along for the ride.

    Politically, aerodynamically, and fashionably incorrect.

Welcome to group therepy! There are several folks around here who are into the older photographic processes, and "nice, weird old lenses".

How many Brooklyn tintypists are there? Welcome to the site from (possibly) the only DC tintypist. What kind of weird lenses?--we like 'em weird around here.

    Welcome.
    Nice portrait.
Do you have a website with other work?
Will you be attending Coffer's "Tintype Jamboree"?

    Redbird,

your work is phenomenal. All of it. Yes you do need a website to share it with others.
