    Using flash with Toyo view CF 54

    Hey,

    I have a toyo 5x4 cf and have yet to use it with flash

    I saw this

    and wondered which flash Dana Lixenburg is using atop her 5x4?

    Just an ordinairy flash with a small softbox att to it !

    Looks like a Sunpak shoe-mounted flash with a LumiQuest softbox (there are a variety of shoe-mounted, battery operated flash guns available).

    To use a shoe-mounted flash with your Toyo, you will need a mounting shoe(no need for one with electrical contacts), and a PC cord.

    Just make sure that your shutter is capable of X sync and has a PC plug.
