Tenants Harbor! I use to pull lobster pots on occasion with my dad and his friend off Port Clyde. Lived in Brunswick Me. and Steuben Me. long ago. Great area for photography of all kinds. Still some funky stuff along the Me. coast I want to get with my 4X5 like some of the run down antique shops and especially Perrys Nut House. Near you the Thomaston Prison is a great subject (where the Shawshank Redemption movie was filmed) but my tries so far have ended with Police escorts. The old kilns at Rockport also intrigue me.

It's a hell of a place in winter though! But you've found a hell of a good forum with a bunch of very helpful people of especially good humor, (usually). Good to hear from you.

Well Nate.... Things have changed a bit..The prison in Thomaston is gone, a big field. Quarry filled in all those "Cages" are gone.. it was amazing when they tore it down.. Now the modern Max is off in the woods near Cushing.
Perrys Nut House sold off all those cool stuffed animals and wood animals..
Port Clyde looks pretty much the same. The old store is painted up but still a nice local hang out.
The lime kilns are still there... But I bet Austin has changed since I was last there in 1985..
Yes it is still a very beautiful place to photograph, and live in.
    Liz
