What did you compose at Waters Edge?

Kayaked there last June and all was good. Did it the year before, in June as well, and while we were there a small RV went in the river. They got things cleaned up pretty quickly.

There's about a ninety mile stretch of Hwy. 12 that parallels the Lochsa river that's extremely curvy and treacherous. Boating in high water, class 4 plus rapids, in June isn't exactly very safe either and I never thought about the hazards of traffic going into the river at the same time.

Love the light on those foreground boulders in #2, Thad. From a kayaking point of view, the Lochsa is relatively safe and friendly. Now the North Fork of the Payette above Banks, ...

Thanks Otto and h2oman. The North Fork of the Payette is more of a long cascade than a river. Well, Cascade is the name of the town at the upper end of the river. You have my respect if you boated that river!

At my skill level, the North Fork Payette would be almost certain death. I take a pass on that one.

I was in Stanley two nights on either side of a Middle Fork Salmon trip last summer - I'm sorry I wasn't aware of your gallery at the time!
