That waterfall was sublime.
Had meant to shoot Ektar 100 in the sun here, but by the time I got to the spot and set up it was sprinkling.

Right behind me was a big pool, where a couple people were swimming. Probably could slide down the whole thing into the pool - the rock was fairly smooth. I used to do that at a couple waterfalls up in north GA when I was young. A big storm had just passed, and so I guess the creek overflowed and rushed that way (not exactly sure how the aqueduct system is designed there, but according to a historical marker, the same guy who designed the Panama Canal did the Augusta aqueduct). It's an interesting little watering hole, mostly unknown to outsiders. I talked for a while to a local who was curious about my cameras and was surprised to see an outsider there, who gave me some tips on other cool stuff locally.
