    Reinhold,

Great image of the derelict sawmill on Discovery Bay. It is gone now, but was still there when I moved to the Olympic Peninsula in 1997. It gradually collapsed, and then was completely removed during a restoration project in the area. I am glad you photographed the mill while it was still mostly intact, and preserved some local history.

    Hi all,

My first contribution to this topic, after seen some samples I feel ashamed by my technic skill.

Two first photos with Xenar 150mm f4,5 from 1927. The lens is spotless, amazing. Ilford Delta 100 1/50s f8.

The real image was prettier than this, I don't know why it's not focused as I wanted and also the steam can't be seen .

    From ice to steam.

This went better for my taste. Ilford Delta 100 1/50s f16.

    Balance on the river.

And now a barrel lens one a Compur Dial shutter, I know it's not the way for a purist but... c'est la vie.
CZJ Dagor 210mm f9 from 1942, a true wide lens for 8x10 used in a 4x5. As the previous one, great lens state, just a very tiny cleaning marks on the front lens.
    Ilford Delta 100 1/50s f22.

    No boats for tourists.

Nice morning indeed, shooting 3 during during 1 hour at -15 degrees with the sun at my back and people taking photos of me, at least one guy recognised the format. Regarding the temperature, this camera and all the procedure is 100% gloves approved!!
    Lord Winter is here finally!

Please comments are welcome and thank you for watching.

Driftwood II, Point Park - Pascagoula, MS

Last year I found this awesome piece of driftwood in the water right off the beach at a nice park on the gulf coast, and shot an image of it on 35mm. I saw it again in the summer and shot a couple of 4x5 sheets of it but I wasn't really happy with them. This past month I returned to find it having been flipped over once or twice all the way up onto the beach (I would love to have seen the storm that did that!). I got lucky with a spectacular sunset and shot a number of images of this towering tree - here's the first I've scanned.

Finally finished up the last of my film from Mississippi. This is a photograph I made early one morning at the Biloxi Bay Bridge, near low tide.

Interesting! By the way, the rebar in the water all around this area is remnants from the I-90 bridge after Katrina washed it completely off the pilings (the top road portion just sat on top).

This was a tough shot because the camera had to be as low to the ground as possible. Should've taken a cell phone snap to show the setup. The rebar is pretty small, only a few inches out of the water, but I tried to emphasize it.

    Thanks!

    Very atmospheric, Bryan!
