Eric James & Jim - both wonderful work (even without my disproportionate fondness for Yosemite). I love seeing familiar places in unique ways, and you both did that exceedingly well.

mitomac - Wow! That's beautiful. I love that green in a sea of nearly neutral tones. Just awesome.

    Very nice, Miguel!

I like all the horizontal lines, alternating black and white, right up to the black line of the frame itself.

    Just like waves.

It's somewhat ironic that in Yosemite, known for its scale and grandeur, Eric and Jim have made two of the most wonderful images from Yosemite that I've seen without showing more than about 20 feet of width and height! Excellent work, guys.

Thanks for the nice comments. I've only been to Yosemite a couple of times and find myself longing to go back. And while it's the grandeur that draws me there, it's these types of images that I find myself shooting. Jim

4x5, 150mm lens. I'm embarrassed to say that I'm using both fp4+ and HP5+ and I can't remember which this was. the exposure time was 5 minutes, though!

Taken near Somes Bar on the Klamath River, State of Jefferson.

Heck of a nice 5 minute exposure. I've always liked going through K-Falls. Where there are more car dealers than there are people.

Yeah, I find myself here after growing up in Wyoming, where there are more antelope than people!
