Lovely Sean. You're in danger of becoming a twigographer.

    Angular Pool, Monument Bay

Gelatin-silver photograph on Agfa Classic MCC 111 FB VC, image dimensions 18.5cm X 21.5cm, from a 4x5 Tri-X negative exposed in a Tachihara 45GF camera with a 90mm f8 Schneider Super Angulon lens.
Some things, clear still water for example, are invisible unless they reflect some thing else. But their beauty, while borrowed, is not diminished.

    Nice shots!

Question about the first one. What produced the fog affect that is limited to just a few inches above the water's surface? Was this a long exposure and this is water surface movement?

Re: What did you compose at Water’s Edge?

The first shot was taken at sunrise shooting east into the sun (over Lake Michigan)...had it been there. The morning was foggy & rain. I believe it was about a 6 minute exposure (on Tri-X at f/45) and I had to shield the lens with my raincoat. There is a reason why we call our group an "asylum." Thanks for your comment.

Thanks for the details. It turned out to be a great affect as far as I'm concerned. Just goes to show, if you know what you are going, you can get a great shot no matter the lighting or conditions. Nice job.
