Corran,
How was working with the Intrepid all metal?
Corran,
How was working with the Intrepid all metal?
Take a look at this thread I made, more specifically the last couple of pages after I received the Intrepid:

The tl;dr is that I'm seriously impressed. It's not the most amazing camera in terms of getting things lined up nicely and precisely but it's also almost 1/3 the weight of my Linhof Master Technika so...
One thing about creek detritus...wait long enough and it'll kindly move! I didn't like how this rotted branch was positioned last time I was out at Amicalola Falls but it was much more photogenic this go-round. Diagonals and such. A fair bit of tilt - wanted to test that out in practice with the new camera too.
Haven't developed the black and white, but did some color this evening since the light was nice - diffuse but directional, illuminating the scene well but not casting shadows.

Very nice, Reno--I'm finding the inky blacks very nice...are we looking at a toned print? At any rate, a great scene, though in my imagination at least more common to, say, Bretagne and not Amiens.
Do you have a twitter acct and share any photos there, Too Many Cameras? I moved from Denver to north of Seattle (2 hrs south of Vancouver BC) in 1991. Nice Leadville and Granite pics. My 2 large format cameras were in my car trunk when it was stolen years ago, so I can only vicariously enjoy LF here.😭 Don't think it's permitted to post ordinary digital photos here. Have a good summer! Thx!
Lovely, Merg! Do you share any photos on Twitter, by any chance? Have a good summer!
