I guess I am beyond the edge.

This is a rotating panorama camera - using 120-film. So maybe this doesn‘t count as a LF-image at all. Even though the final negative size is something like 2.3" x 10". Larger than a 4x5 counting square inches, hehe.

If accepted, there is a nice riddle for the photographers too. This is shot with a Seitz Roundshot 65mm with a 1/60 exposure, from a drifting boat. Why are some areas sharper than others?

My guess is that because the motions when riding a wave follow a sinusoidal pattern. This means that acceleration is the highest in the rising and falling slopes, but there is little acceleration (actually even 0 at two points) near the peak and bottom of the wave. As a result, motion blur due to the wave motions that you're riding on as a photographer will vary across the period of the wave.

Yes! This drains into the Chattooga, and there was warnings everywhere about flash floods. Apparently an issue for that river, which I did not know. It's been a long, dry summer so the river was very low, and photogenic.

    Cane Creek Falls, Take 2

Linhof "Standard" 5x7, 21cm f/6.8 Schneider Symmar, Foma 100, Pyrocat:

Was looking to get the reflection of the waterfall with the shimmering/waves, which worked nicely, but I needed more foreground interest. It just wasn't there. Maybe soon the leaves will be in the water and can give me some movement/interest - this waterfall is 15 min. from my house.
