    Finally got a nice day to try out my new (to me) Kodak View #2. Fujinon-W 300mm lens, Ilford Delta 100, 8x10.

    Thanks Steve! I was most impressed by the film--this was one of the last sheets from a box of Delta that expired three years ago. Didn't make any adjustments: shot at box speed and developed normally.

    I'm just now finishing a documentation report for a dam on the Sheepscot River in coastal Maine, and remembered this little picture of the river immediately downstream of the dam in Head Tide. It was a 4x5 job, but I brought the 8x10 with me for any extra pictures that appealed to me. I set up the camera within the overflow chamber on the right side of the dam, and was quite smitten by the contrasts in texture and light.

    I really like the way the reflections in the ripples contrast with the clarity of the stream.
