    A scan of the darkroom print. Shot on Tmax 100 F-11 @15sec. 150mm lens. I probably should have used F-32 for a little more depth of field.

    Another image from the same area but from a different day. This one was made with the Ebony 8x10 using a Nikkor 150SW on ly this time on Provia.

    OK, I'll bite. How did you get the swirl one time, but not the other? Very long exposure? (I really like the images.)

    Lovely image with good impact Jim. Good to see you are still at LF endeavors. I take it this was taken in WI?

    Would love to have seen a slightly higher perspective so that the water motion would dominate the image a bit more.

    John,

    The swirls were made possible because the outlet from the pool was pretty much clogged up with leaves and the current had them moving in a counterclockwise motion. And, yes, a long exposure helped. When I made the second image, the stream was moving freely as the clogged area had been cleared due to a rain storm.
