Hi jtomasella, That picture was made on the part of Black Run on the Kings Grant side, towards the south end.

These days, the "local authorities" have decided that being out alone in the woods is bad for our, or somebody else's,
health, so I will not be photographing there for a while (or anywhere, except maybe in my back yard).

Are you local? PM me if you wish to discuss.
    Where are we going?
And why are we in this handbasket?

Very nice. This year? The ponds only froze once locally, as I recall.

I like both of your Staten Island pictures very much. The first (B/W) one, that sky really makes it. You must have used
an ND filter or such to get the long exposure. Nicely done.

I've driven by (and over) "The Meadowlands" often enough to think that there could be some good photographs to be made there,
    but have never done so.

Thanks Joe! It's okay as a contact print. It Was the second sheet of film through the camera, sometimes we get lucky.
