That's one of the stronger Pyrocat semi-stand dilutions I've seen: is it predicated on using that particular film, or did you have some printing issues you were planning on?

At any rate, good to see some photos from your outing dropping--looks like a good day to thrash around in the rhodie. I'll have to get y'all up to the GSMNP at some point so you can explore some bigger country (especially if you take your Wehman and Eric's got his 5x12 by that point.)

Thanks guys. CB, when I'm doing a full 12-sheet batch, my normal development seems to be too weak. I've done 1:1:200 for 6-sheet batches. So I gave this dilution a try with only slight "semi-stand" development - 20 minutes with agitation 3 times in the course of that time.

Negatives look gorgeous so I'll be doing this again. I was thinking the time/dilution might be too much, but the light was very flat so an N+ development was okay. It ended up being just right, maybe a tad bit +, but good I think for most negatives.

Excellent, I've been curious as to solution-strengths lately as I try to get dialed in using a Paterson Orbital with 5x7.

This is the only time I've really experienced that issue, so I've been playing around with different dilutions and development times to dial in something since I like doing large batches.

Speaking of semi-stand, I took the solution from that development round and added another 3 ml of each part A and B to "replenish" the developer a bit, and did another batch of semi-stand developing, this time Efke PL100 film developed for an hour.

I've seen this little S-curve in the creek for years, but it always has lots of detritus in the creek and also it's overgrown at the trail so hard to get at. They did some maintenance and the recent rain cleared the junk so I finally got this photo.

Ha, Heraclitus definitely had it right in these parts--the only constant is change, especially on the higher gradient streams in the GSMNP. That is a photogenic stretch of water, though.

I usually have high SBRs and use what would be minus developments. I settled on 1.5:1:150 for EMA Pyrocat. I need up join you guys sometime. I’ve been in the flatlands so long, I don’t know if I remember how to take a picture of a hill.

Indeed CB, I've shot probably hundreds of sheets / rolls along the creek in Amicalola Falls State Park.

John, we need to come down to St. Simons (or Jekyll!). I've been meaning to try camping at Jekyll. Of course you are welcome up this way any time!
