    112mm filter

If I don't want it special ordered(means waiting..), is b&h my only choice? Does any other store carry those filters regularly?

You didn't say what type of filter.
Contact Rod Klukas at Photomark. He's ordered larger 135 filters for me in the past. He normally stocks 105's and may or may not have 112 in stock (depends on what you are looking for)

Just UV. Is your 135mm filter coated?

I don't know your application or how many times you have to do it, but consider taping a gel to the back of the lens.

I'm sorry, you said that. FWIW, I've never used protective filters on lenses. They seem like dirt collectors and on very wide lenses an opportunity for distortion. I would make an exception for sand storms and maybe the beach, but I find a lens cap even better protection.

    YMMV
