Calculating Polarizer and Contrast filter exposure?

From a previous thread I've learned to add 2 stops to compensate for a polarizing filter. So how do I calculate the exposure when combining a contrast filter with the polarizer?

Do I simply meter in my usual way when using contrast filters (Gordon Hutchings method) and then add that with the 2 stops necessary for the polarizing filter?

    Thanks

Generally that's correct but for best practice you need to test for each specific film you plan to use.
