Does anybody know where I can get Ilford "gold fibre silk" paper at a discount price? It's a wonderful paper but like many fiber based type of papers it can get expensive.

The lowest prices on digital ink and paper are at www.atlex.com
Check www.itsupplies.com and http://www.climaxphoto.com
Both are very good to deal with when it comes to supplies and service. Jim
I can't help with Ilford, but HP is running a great deal on their papers in their online store. 3 boxes for the price of 2 and free shipping. I got 150 sheets of the HP Premium Plus paper 8.5x11 for $64 delivered in 2 days to the house.

I've not tried that specific paper, but on several others, I too found altex.com to be the best source.
Atlantic Exchange is currently out of stock for Ilford Fiber Gold Silk in the 8.5x11x50 size. Freestyle Photo has IGFGS for the same price and they do have inventory.
I wasn't at all pleased with ATLEX.COMs handling of my last paper order. Since they have moved to their Illinois location they seem to be slipping a bit.

I have used these guys for years and have great service.

Just for kicks, I compared prices on the four companies mentioned here for the Fibre Silk. DTGweb doesn't offer it so theat leaves the other three. I picked out four different sizes and here's the breakdown:
IT(shipping free on $99+) Atlex Climax
8.5x11 (50 sheets) 39.99 39.61 39.61
13x19 (50) 109.99 111.47 111.47
24x50 109.99 108.88 108.88
44x50 184.99 185.01 185.01
IT would certainly be less expensive if you are over $99. The other two are in a dead heat. Although I would give the edge to Climax simply because they are the company that has put together clear film sleeves in sizes ranging from 4x10, 7x17, and I believe 8x20 (please correct me if I'm wrong). In any event, all three are very competitive. Jim
Hope everyone can read the list, I tried to keep everything in its column, but was unsuccessful. (Obviously I don't know how to post this stuff).
