Jim,
GREAT image. Brings back vivid memories of a 1974 early start one-day climb with a buddy for sunset color photos from the summit with glassy air. Feeling fulfilled, started the descent at last sunlight, was dusk when we unroped. My friend took off his crampons (kept mine on) at the lower part of the glacier, then took one step and went horizontal in midair and was able to arrest his 100-foot slide just before hitting the rocks. He was OK. Yup, those were the days!
