Nice Christopher. The wall with grass reminds me of Barry Thorntons work in Edge of Darkness.
Thank you, Gary & Laura!
This photo was taken twenty years (or so) ago, Martin, and I never was much for taking notes but I know a few of the details and can guess at the rest.
The film was 4x5 Ilford HP5+, which was released in late 1989, so this was taken after that. The location was somewhere in the Cedar Mountains, about 50 miles west of Salt Lake City, UT, the angle of the sun looks like mid-spring or (more likely) mid-autumn.
I've always been a a one lens/one camera kind of guy, it was probably a 210mm Nikkor-W or maybe a Fuji 150mm, I didn't use much else. If this was taken in 1990 or 1991, the camera was a Gowland Pocket View, later than that, an MPP, a Super Graphic or even the Korona 4x5 that I kept in the trunk of my car for several years.
Folks;
This is such an inspiring thread, it seems like there's one great shot after another! A bit intimidating, too. I hope that I will have something worth posting when I get through my processing!
Thanks to all for sharing your great photographs.
Keith
