This is the first post here.
I have this photo that I wanted to share with you all. This is picture of the print I dont have that big scanner to scan 16x20, so the quality is not the best

But this was taken with Linhof and the film is 4x5 Delta 100 developed in Rodinal

Chamonix 5×8", Schneider Symmar 300mm, 5×8" Adox CHS 25, developed in Rodinal

This one was hard. It took me several tries (6 or 7, or maybe even more) from different spots, in several conditions during a couple of years until I got an acceptable image. Or an image that most resembles what the place tells me from the very beginning, what I wanted to capture...

Lesson I learned: perseverance is important. Don't be put of by initial failure, even several of them... and let the place speak to you...

that looks very good even in "the not very best quality". As a print, it must be wonderful...

This is a volcanic rock formation along the eastern Sierra.

I visited this spot for the first time last week and I will go back. It was a lot of fun.
