    Definitely like the harmonics here, especially with the curves of the swale playing off the receding ridgeline and the cloud above. Seems like a scene that could be explored in a lot of different weather conditions/lighting, though you might think about experimenting with filters a bit if the sky is going to be a constant element in the composition.

    Thank you for the comment! Views like this is why I keep going back. Yes this lens is my most used for landscapes. Wide enough but, not too wide. It's bright and light weight.

    I live in Klamath falls, OR, and when my parents were alive, they were in Casper, WY. If you look for the route between them on a road atlas, you'll see that I've driven through my share of that kind of country!

    I like these a lot, and I think you are right, they work together as a pair, I think it's the contrast between the detail on the right and the lack of it on the left that makes that work.
