Alstrom Point, Utah. Portra160, 4x5 Chamonix 45H-1, 75mmNikkor f/4.5@f/32. If you zoom in on the background center right, you will see lightning.

Thank you. Still doesn’t do justice to actual image.

Very nice. I love Sedona shots. I live about 1.5 hours south of there.

I love how the blue of the water is mirrored in the geological layers that appear to be blue-grey.

This is a striking shot, thanks for sharing it!

Thank you. You're welcome. I agree, I hadn't thought of it but you are correct. I like it too.

    Re: Large Format Landscapes

So a few quick questions -

could you have done the same with slide film (Velvia, Provia - am I correct that Kodak has no E6 film available on the market currently?!?), I'm thinking of the dynamic range in the scene and nice balance you achieved.

Were the colors like that in the scene, or have you tweaked them in post? They're beautiful, almost unreal. Maybe the light is like that there.

Thanks. I'm working on improving my own 4x5 work and am seeing some stunning images here, very inspiring!
