Very moody image, Bryan! Did you have to worry about gators?

We saw, on one road, something like 20+ alligators, from smaller ones that were about 1 year old to larger 6-7 footers. We were in the water here at this trail but didn't see any. My friend and I looked up, out of curiosity, how many unprovoked gator attacks were reported in FL, and it was 7 I think for one year. They really are not interested in people generally, and mostly retreat when approached - which is good! I definitely was on alert though! Thanks.

    Bryan,
Lovely image. Trees against interesting sky are wonderful.

That said, the lower right corner and the reflection are somewhat distracting. If you put your thumb over the reflection, it helps !

The dark corner is Outlined on the left by a white branch which also draws attention. If that whiteness was spotted out or toned down and the reflection a little darker, the corner might not be not be so distracting (to my eye).

I don't mean to be overly critical - many of your images are very well done, this one included. - just my reaction.
Perhaps others would not agree with my suggestion.
I know just enough to be dangerous !

Dennis, thanks for your thoughts. The right corner was actually something that bugged me when i was composing (it's actually the 'trail' to get there!) but i wanted the sun there between the trees which limited my movement. But yes i generally agree. I have some more film to develop though - haven't quite found the 'winner' from this trip .
