Here are a few more images taken last year and recently scanned. This group is kind on an ongoing"project" of canyon walls. All were taken with 8x10 Velvia, and all were taken with a Nikkor 150 f8. I have never been one to use a wide angle very often, but I am slowly learning to hopefully "see" with this wider lens. And the 150 is one wonderfully sharp lens with nice coverage for using movements. The first one was taken in Longs Canyon which is outside of Capitol Reef National Park, the next two were taken in Capitol Reef which has some of the most interesting rock walls.

Liked those, Jim, specially the last with the tree, as she's saying to us "I'll stand! Can you hear me?"

The other 2 pics has "that" light falling over "those" walls, really a classic beauty color warmth we learned to love in the US wilderness.

    John,
Well seen, I like the fluid motion in the water and on the color's transitions,

Thank you RSalles, Fuji Velvia 50 is great for this type of image. I have been shooting more black and white since that film has become more difficult to buy.

Very cool that the film still worked out! Nice shot. Looks like more McMansions are headed that way soon...

Love these, especially the colours and subjects! Add to that im a sucker for most things Velvia and it really works in this context.
