Beautiful image and rendition with great range of values.
Based on yesterday's post and this, if others are as good, must have been a successful trip.
I know just enough to be dangerous !

Wista 45vx, Nikkor 90mm f/8 @ f/22, FP4+ rated at 80, 14sec exposure. Dropped the bed about as far as the camera would allow while having only a slight front-tilt.
I think this is a fantastic image. Especially if this is out of your comfort zone and you are trying to get better at landscapes. I like your choice for framing the waterfall and the exposure and scan is spot on as well. Very nice image.

Thanks! I've processed 6 sheets of B&W film so far and probably about a dozen more to go. I also shot some 4x5 Velvia 50 on the trip that I'm excited to get back, plus a pile of 35mm slides. Hopefully I'll get a few more keepers!

Took this over the weekend while driving around for inspiration. Saw this from a distance and knew right away that I wanted to try to make a photo here. However, I was not dressed appropriately for walking in this field. So a 100 bug bites and scratches later, I made two exposures at this scene one in B&W and another on Velvia 50. I scanned the original @ 2000 DPI and there is unbelievable detail including several grass hoppers, bees, and ducks in the scene.

Would love to hear your comments and feedback.

What does "for 4 sections" mean?

    Nice. Worth the bug bites!

Nice Matt! I like this and your other recent large format landscapes as well. I especially thought your images of Cedar Falls were stunning! Also, big fan of the show
