I tried to get there earlier this month Robert. Thought there was very little snow, the road was gated near the top. Nice textures!

Very cool, thanks for that. I never knew that was one man behind it. I just know it from this. Would love to have one of the 8x10's.

Thanks. The second was what I had in mind ahead of time, but when I got to my planned location everything was underwater. I made the first image and figured that was it. Then, about a mile down the road the water was gone, so I pulled over and made the second image.
It was clear and the sun had come up when I did the second one, but by the time I got done I thought maybe I had frostbitten my fingers. When I got back in the car and checked the temperature it was 26 degrees (Fahrenheit, for you foreigners who were thinking I am a sissy, which I am) - no wonder.
PS You've been posting some great stuff lately!
Here are a few from the fall when I hauled all my gear to the top of Angel's Landing in Zion National Park and took a shot looking in both directions. For more about that day, check out my recap at http://www.alanbrockimages.com/blog/...angels-landing If you watch the video, be sure and stick around to the end to see my super precise shooting technique...
Both were shot on 4x5 Ilford Delta 100 using a #25 red filter. Developed in Ilfosol-3 and scanned using an Epson V700.
Black and white, it really doesn't matter. LOL
I liked the video a lot, I will never climb up there.
Thanks!
