Thanks, about the website though, it's an overgrown mess. Thanks for wading into it.

The jungle-like flora gives this a steamy South American feel.

Very nice John, and I bet the waterfall is flowing even faster as our snowpack melts...

Not far away, high in the N. Cascades, I’ve never seen anyone here. Not once.

    I might be the first!

Of course, the actual privilege may belong to the Skagit, Chelan, Chilliwack, or other native peoples. ;^)

Those are larches on the opposite shore – half are green, half are yellow. It's mid-October after all.

    Re: Large Format Landscapes

First day out with my large format set up! I had a blast.
I'd be really happy to hear any constructive feedback on composition in particular! And exposure and anything else
(I have no idea how to link straight to flickr as neatly as others do, sorry)

Wattles are already out and brightening things up here, before we really get started with winter.

Horseman L45, some front standard drop, 20mm or so.
    Schneider 135mm Symmar-S
    Hoya Orage filter
2 seconds at F22 (2 stop exposure compensation for the filter)
    Ilford FP4+
Developed at home in Ilford ID-11 3+1 for 20mins.
    Scanned on Epson V850

    Re: Large Format Landscapes

Another one from day 1. We hiked a fair bit, with some scrambling out to the river bed. Really happy with the packability of the Horseman.

    Horseman L45
    Schneider 135mm
    Ilford FP4+
1/15s at F32, some front standard drop, and first time tilting too

Overall, I find this too busy, no subject that stands out. But lots of nice details to zoom around and check out.
This mightve been a good one for a ND filter... absolutely no movement in the water (if you can even find the water!).
