    Thanks!
Had to wait a fairly long time before the sun broke through. And I saw the scene with the background lit up and a darker foreground. But that didn't happen. Came out good the other way round too, but with a very different feeling and mood.

    Fabulous
Just one question - on my monitor the print looks very slightly dark - did you print it that way ?

Yes it's meant to have a very dark white point. Making it to bright takes away a lot of the mood I think. It becomes to up-front so to say.
But there is a hard to balance tipping point from mood to too dark. Maybe I overdid it this time.

Oooh, that's dandy. Love the sky, snd particularly like the four bright parralel lines carrying the eye into then distance. I like that the tonal range is of the image lets those bright features in the road and utility line stand out. Well done!

lassethomas, this is a fine picture. Great light, only photography can do this convincingly. I would love to see a print.
    Where are we going?
And why are we in this handbasket?

    Hi
No, I don't think you over did it, the image on my monitor looks dark - but I wasn't sure if that was a function of the scanner or your original intention.
As the photographer, you have the right to print your work how you see fit.
I like the effect - it makes the mood rather foreboding and overall it makes for a fabulous print.
