    Thanks Steven, me too. I've been keeping an eye on the turning, trying to gauge an optimal time to visit one or two choice locations. Such a date is fast approaching, but the weather has not been cooperative lately.

    Very nice, Gabe. Impressive that you could hold that dynamic range with Provia. The light must have cooperated with you!

    Thank you. Yes there was dappled sunlight falling on the scene and I had to wait for an overcast moment to make the exposure. My main concern was the dark water and shadowed rocks in the in the foreground, but I managed to just tease out some detail there.

    Whoa! Outstanding!! Converted from color. That's amazing. I can barely get a good scan and good image with B&W negs and here you are upsetting everyone!
