Here are a couple of images taken this fall at Factory Butte. Both on 8x10 film. Having fog in this area is rather rare and beautiful.

Very nice Jim, especially the second one. Factory Butte is a fascinating subject.

Very useful information--"busy" backgrounds are pretty much a given in my local "temperate rainforest" here in the Southern Appalachian's. (Wonderful photo as well, of course.)

Scanned with Epson V850 as linear raw tiff, converted with Colorperfect and processed in Photoshop. This is the sharpened version. The unsharpened version looks like it was sharpened.
