    Hi Alan, the sun was out behind the camera, so it helped illuminate the road. I then further dodged the road in Photoshop and added a slight vignette. An orange filter helped the clouds in the distance.

    I like the composition generally...with the three strong lines converging towards the left horizon.

    I'm a bit distracted by the crooked horizon line, and also I would possibly like to see the close end of the log included in the image, with just a bit of "breathing room" between this and the bottom of the frame.

    Also...the far end of the log looks like a dragon's head - and it would be interesting to have taken another image featuring this detail more prominently.

    Colors and contrast are believable and softly relaxing - but as always it would be nice to see this as a physical print.
