I think oftentimes folks hit page one and post #9 and decide to respond (especially new folks who get dumped on the first page of the thread).
13+ years later and still raising hackles.
I think having to set composition mechanically...with tripod and ground glass, over and over- make a huge difference. Plus, analog and LF run at a more human pace. I'm not sure we were built for the speed and chaos of modern life. Nobody seems to be thriving on it, IMHO.
