Alex, you're killing me...making me want to sell everything I own just so I can get into wet plate.

Found a Grafmatic with some exposed film I didn't develop yet. Shot this two years ago. Taken at 14,000 ft with a Zone VI 4x5. Shot on Foma 200 rated at 120 and developed in Pyrocat MC for 8.5 minutes.

Nice image Colorado CJ. The composition, texture and tones work for me. Subject material is nice also.

AlexGard, your work is truly an art! Are you displaying the plates in galleries? I would really like to see one in real life.

Colorado CJ, despite an amount of textures on the photo, it looks so well composited, just stunning!

Thank you all for the inspiration.

What 14er was that on? Nonetheless, it is impressive to hike that high with a large format camera. My hat is off to you CJ. I've done quite many of the 14ers but none with a 4x5 camera. And I have hiked with my 4x5 up high, but not that high.

I thought sf lenses were normally used for portraits.

I don't like them for landscapes. It just looks like you forgot to focus the camera.
    Personal opinion.
