Beautiful image, Vaughn! I can't imagine shlepping 11x14 more than about 100 feet from the car.

I have had this image on my mind since April 2018, but did not want to haul the 11x14 up to this spot in a suitcase. I bought a canoe portage pack and got the camera up there (and back) just fine. Clouds would have been cool, but I did not need them. Impossible to see on the screen and tough to see on the print, are three bighorn sheep.
Wow! The haze as the image recedes makes it for me.

I carried the 8x10 around this area a lot the year before -- taking the 5x7 when I wanted to go a bit further.

B&W image -- 8x10 pt/pd. Looking north from close to where the 5.5x14 was taken.
Color -- my 5x7 set up where the bighorn go. Not really, but you can see where they go from there.

    Another nice image! Thanks.

Well...now that I'm long into my retirement years, I can't carry the 8x10 Deardorff nearly as far as I used to; so...I've got an Intrepid 8x10. The Intrepid is not nearly as nice of a camera, but it does enable me to carry it to where ever I want to go.

Shot with my Chamonix 45H1 on HP5+ 9x12.
Not absolutely sure about the lens but Ithink it was a Symmar-S 150/5.6

Yes, that's a magical image, Alex.
