Image taken at "Gypsy Bank", Peak District National Park, UK, late May this year. It's a view I've loved for a long time and have been there several times with my camera. Really looking for more dramatic light, but in the meantime this keeps me happy!

Nice work. How did you scan? Linear Raw in 16 bit grey or 48 bit rgb? If rgb, did you convert to 16 bit grey at some point?

    Hi Bryan,

Just a bit west of the Econfina River at the St. Marks NWR marshes.

    Kind regards,
    Darr

Ah, that was my other guess. I love St. Marks, but I haven't been in years. Did you see the flamingo?

From years ago - sunset at the St. Marks Lighthouse. Taken, I think, with my Chamonix and a 90mm lens:

Really dig both of these, especially the first one, Bryan.

    Thanks Brandon!

Everyone seems to like the 300mm. I am partial to the 90mm. I imagine it may depend on print size.

I love the snap in the 300mm shot, and the tones in the 90mm one.

Possibly. There's a bit of abstraction in the 300 shot, as if the strands of water were hair. More graphic, and definitely a unique perspective, at least that's what my eye tells me...
