    Guys,

Been talking to Bryan in Van Alstyne, Tx. How does sometime in the spring sound when everything is looking a little better. I'll be coming down the day before and getting a room or camping in Turner Falls. Lets pick this up around the 1st of March and figure out a date.

Between now and then, if anyone is passing through OKC, give me a call. If nothing more, we can get together and talk.

Hey I would be interested in this as well. I am in Fort Worth and I know at least one other person who would day trip to Turner Falls from here too.

    Yo Rick:

I usually leave the house by 4:30 or 5 in the morning to get to the falls about 30 minutes before sunrise. If the light is right I'll even shoot some 120. My next window of opportunity will be February 14. I know it's Valentines Day but I bought my wife a great gift this year so she will not mind.

After I shoot the falls I scout around for rock formations or patterns. There was a huge range fire in that area a couple of years ago and there might be some charred trees around. Driving the back roads of Oklahoma could turn up an old barn or old farm equipment. There's always the Chickasaw National Rec Area for some small streams near Sulpher, OK. http://www.chickasaw.net/ I'm open to photograph sights you may know of closer to OKC East or West along the I35 corridor.

This is one of the shots I took in September 2006:

February 14th is out for me. If we shoot on that day, I'll have to come home and live with you. How about March?

    Guys,

I and Rick Floyd are planning on meeting at Turner Fall next weekend, Sat March 14th.

I know it's short notice but hope most of you can make it.

Darren informed me of the trip and I would definately want to go. If not tomorrow, at some other time. It's been raining here in the Fort Worth area for the past two days, and I been checking the NOAA forcast for Turner Falls, and it's not looking too good from all that I've seen. I may have to make it another time. Let me know.
