    thank heavens i was insured , The lens survived , the camera R.I.P , i think the only thing that saved the lens was i had a massive lee filter system on at the time and it fell face first

    Scott: You and Jonathan Coldslabs are definitely my favorites for taking seemingly mundane things or scenes I would walk right past, and turning them into compelling images. Love the work!

    Ditto , I must admit i am guilty of photographing obviously attractive scenes at times so i admire people who can make interesting pictures from mundane everyday items

    Over the years I have tried taking landscape photos of "pretty" scenes, and I found that it is difficult to do well. You'd think not--beautiful scenery should equal a beautiful photograph--but that is hardly the case. Scott seems to be able to succeed with both the mundane and the sublime, which is no easy feat.
