They are Rule Die Punches
Usually mounted in Die wood with rubber pushers and used to cut paper gaskets quickly in Fly Press
I used them to cut FujiFilm Pressure Sensitive Film by hand with small hammer
Then installed into an absolutely dry engine, any liquid ruined it

Just a preview of how little information is captured even with multiple hours of exposure. However, when you accumulate enough data, these distance giants start to show in their full glory. I am still not done with this image as some of the brighter stars don't have their true colors.
Left is 4.5hrs and the right is the same target with an additional 6.5hrs (11hrs total) of data.

Something different: multispectral photography (UV + VIS light):
LEWISIA cotyldodon (Bitterroot) in human vision, reflected UV, simulated butterfly and bee vision (left to right, top to bottom)
I did not know that at the time I took that photo, but when talking to Klaus Lunau he told me this: This clearly visible UV reflecting ring, formed by those shiny petals which is especially visible in reflected UV had been discovered by Prof. (em) Klaus Lunau of the University of Duesseldorf, Germany and he had published about that in NATURE 2020 here: Lunau, K., Ren, ZX., Fan, XQ. et al. Nectar mimicry: a new phenomenon. Sci Rep 10, 7039 (2020). https://www.nature.com/articles/s41598-020-63997-3

They are quite good at balancing for a bit. To reach those juicy hedgeapple leaves. Recently we had fifteen deer laying down in our backyard, some snoozing..... They must feel comfortable LOL
