    Very cool, thanks for posting. My son and I were really excited for the event, and were getting up every hour checking the sky, unfortunately the clouds never cleared so we didn't get to see it.

    My Uncle gave me permission to post these after I saw what he had done. North Dakota, clear skies, warm night in the 50's and NO wind.

    Two images, first a composite looking towards the South. Second during the eclipse looking North. Digital - Canon with 400 and 1.4 Teleconverter for the moon. Nikon with 24mm for the Aurora. Very small light show in the night sky but a nice counterpoint to the moon.

    Peter, these are fantastic. Love the MOON!

    I managed to grab another galaxy. This needs to be redone in better sky conditions but I did have a break last night to capture this.
