Christopher, please post more often. This is a wonderful image, and the tonality, with all the gorgeous reflected light, is superb. While far removed, it reminds me for some reason of Savannah, GA, where we used to visit my grandmother at her beautiful Spanish-style home in a fine neighborhood.

I think you're right about the light. Maybe the humidity is similar, being next to large bodies of water and the way light seems to "seep" into everything and everywhere?

Tuscany feels similar to me, though it has to be the dust in Italy since places like Florence are so far inland.

A recent attempt to "vintageize" the look of a local building. It takes a long time but I'm liking the results so might make a project of this with the old buildings in my district.

Great photo, may I ask where that was taken? It looks like a hotel I stated in in Tasmania!! I think the town was Queenstown, Tasmania.
