I know it well! I spent many a day on the Black River. I grew up near Bessemer. Have not been back there for over twenty years. I miss the area, but I don't miss the cold winters!

It almost looks unreal, the way the mountain peaks tower over the village in the valley bottom. - but that's what some of the Alpine valleys look like.
