    The cup and saucers series I can imagine being a very neat relaxed and peaceful still life to contemplate and photograph, but you also get little glimpses/reminders, that this thing was formed by exciting and controlled motion, perhaps with mud and mess on a potter's wheel. Sort of like, but more timeless, than a smooth line on an antique car is made with violent machines, hammers, and sparks.
