    Nice one Dennis.
The light is beautiful and serene.
And thanks for your comment on my fake eclipse shot.
After taking in the eclipse in Albany Oregon, my wife and I took a drive around Mt. Hood. This was taken from a trail that surrounds the lake.

My fake picture of the Pix Theater in the bustling little downtown of Albany, OR, while scouting for an eclipse location.

Bustling Albany? There was not much happening there when I drove through downtown.
What I like about your eclipse shot was that you made a photo that actually captured some context. Most shots I've seen are just focused on the sun (or moon). You made a really nice photo. That two minutes went by so fast. Nice work.

Thanks again, Peter. I saw a lot of out of state cars downtown - mine included. So for Albany, it was probably a bustling weekend.

My first idea was looking for a cool, old neon motel/hotel sign with a space theme name. Something like the Star Light Hotel or something. You could look up at that and it would light up in the dark. But no luck.

Ha! Here in GA a bad frost killed off a staggering amount of the peaches (also in the Carolinas). Peaches here are really expensive right now compared to typical years, and not very good to boot.

Here's a couple photos from today. Needed to get out of the house, it's been raining a lot and have been working a bunch as well. These are from a pond deep in the woods at a local wilderness area:

Taken with a Nikon S2 black-dial I just tore down and cleaned up a few days ago, needed to test it out, and my favorite early 5cm f/1.4 Nikkor lens - in fact made in 1950, and their ~168 lens ever made of that type. Taken with some Kentmere 100 and dev'd in HC-110.
