    That image is a challenge to render here: a small difference in monitor brightness changes it from quiet morning light to gloom.

    In Photoshop with a Retina display at 219 dpi, it looks like a detailed engraving. In a web browser which can only show 102 dpi, it's trying to not look mushy.
