I was in Tallahassee last Friday and shot some stuff around "Railroad Square." There was a freakin' awesome old-school arcade in an old warehouse and everything was set on free play. One day when I'm more settled I want to start collecting old arcade cabinets.
Anyway, here's a shot from inside - Leica M9, Nikkor 50mm f/1.4 Millennium:
It was a wonderful sunset Sunday and I was hiking. Made it to a nice open clearing with tall grass (I guess?) just as the last bit of the golden hour finished up. A couple of images - taken with my Nikon F5 and 50mm f/1.4D, on Ektar 100:
I'm coming to grips with Ektar. It still has a slightly blue/magenta tint to me in most situations, but, when the light really gets going and that last 15 minutes of golden sunlight hits, it's pretty nice, when shot in full sunlight. I still tweak the colors just a bit in PS.
Love the second one Bryan. I find that the sage grass most always come out less saturated that I remember it.
Regards
Marty
Hello everyone haven't been snooping around here in a while life has just gotten to busy.
I see I have missed a great deal of very fine work although I do follow quite a few of you over on the flickr pages.
Anyway here is some things I've been doing in the last several months I hope you enjoy seeing them as much as I do making them.
The one in the middle really works for me . Cheers Gary
