lens value?

Hi all, Can anyone tell me what this might be worth,
135mm schneider xenar lens in a prontor press shutter. Glass appears good with a few minor scratches on the front element. The shutter fires on all speeds but of course ther is no promise on accuracy. The guy wants 110.00 for it , I offered 50 how far up should I go ?

you're at the max (or beyond) for a scratched 150mm Xenar. You could likely get an unscratched one for the same price.

Which 135mm Xenar is it? f:3.5, 4.5, or 4.7? Age, serial number?

And more important, does "the guy" want 110.00 USD, GBP, EUR, IDR, or biscuits?

Assuming USD (US $), it's worth anything from -50 to +50, plus the price of the shutter.

A scratched 1965 Xenar 135/4.5 in a functioning Prontor Press?

I would offer US$ 30.-, but only since I could use it on 9x12cm. The coverage is really marginal on 4x5". Or I could use the shutter for another lens.
