    two in galli style.

i bought this petzval lens as a parts lens. it was a "complete" lens (the hood is inside the camera)....less the rear element. great old look to it.

funny part is i just found what could be the exact lens on e bay. it had scratched rear element....imagine if i needed/had the correct part?!?!?!?

anyway. not sure of the FL any more. 16 inches or so.

10 inch E.F. B&L magic lantern lens. Pretty drastic bokeh with this thing but fun!

Just for perspective regarding the "rediscovery" of these old lenses, I just received a copy of "Imogen! Imogen Cunningham Photographs 1910-1973", published in 1974 by the University of Washington Press. On page 23 there's a plate of her 1910 photograph, "The Vision" and a note on the page says, "This one was made with a Pinkham and Smith soft-focus lens that would be fashionable today ... if you could find one." I think that some of these page notes were from Imogen, others were from elsewhere. It's kind of fun, though, that someone thought these things to have been fashionable back in 1974!

    Politically, aerodynamically, and fashionably incorrect.
