    Jim, Congratulations on retirement!

Whatever will you do now, Jim. You seem to have no hobbies or interests at all.

Congratulations! I retired 2 years ago and I highly recommend it.

Congratulations, Jim! Did the little green men give you a retirement present?

Welcome to the world of gainfully unemployed.
I hope you are as comfortable and happy here as I have been for the past 30 years.

OK, Jim. In your honor here's a shot from a lens I found the other day. I put it together for Per's workshop with you in 2009. I tried one shot with it back then and put it away until the other day when it turned up again. I put a couple of sheets of 8x10 Kodak Xray in the holder and took it out for a spin. It is a sort of landscape meniscus (a faint resemblance) and is about 500 mm focal length. It does interesting things. This is wide open at f/9.Click image for larger version.

As my wife put it when she retired (and I second the motion): 'Now they pay me NOT to work there!'.

Interesting, thanks for the info as I still experimenting and trying to figure things out in the large format world.
