    Thanks. I have a few Lionel's left. This 238e set turned up at Hot August Nights and I brought it home.

    I don't use my 12" f4.5 Ektar lens enough!
    This is from an 8X10 inch wet plate collodion negative made with the Ektar lens on the Deardorff. Exposure was 8 minutes (yes, you read that right) at f6.3 using Quinn Jacobson's collodion for negatives and corresponding developer.

    Did you tilt this, Paul ? Or am I imagining things ? V. nice image. Wonder what a 12" F6.3 Ektar would render in similar situation ?

    Thanks. I used some correction to make the vertical window frame lines vertical, yes. I've not used the Commercial Ektar, so I don't know how they compare. I suspect they aren't very different. Anyone know for sure? Jim?
