    View Camera Website

If anyone was trying to get to the View Camera website but found the site was down, the issue has been resolved and the site is back up.

The site had exceeded it's allowed amount of space due to a large increase in the number of articles on the free section and subscribers section. So, VC had to work with the host to get this resolved which occured early this morning.

So, the site should be back up and working fine. If you go to the site and still get the down message, just refresh your screen and all should be OK after that.

    Thanks,
    Eric

What's with all the underlined text on that site? Normal user experience leads one to believe that underlined text is likely hyperlinked. Not the case here.

They use a lot of underline tags for some reason(s), which is not usually recommended, especially when it's unnecessary for the content or context, and does imply a hyperlink. This tends to discourage the user.

What's with the password? The number, if that's it, from the July/Aug issue doesn't work. Do we need the one from the issue we don't have? Gee, that's a great way to treat subscribers, promise something but... Or am I, as usual, missing something here.

The password seems to change at the beginning of the "next" issue. In this case it probably changed on Sept 1. The fact that many of us don't see the magazine until sometime in October doesn't give much of an opportunity to get valuable use out of the 'subscriber only' section.
